Blue magic

The bluebells are out, so I decided to get up early this morning to catch the majestic blue carpet in the woods near our home. The light was nicely filtered through the still-developing foliage, and – with the forest floor also scattered with some leftover white wood anemones – I thought the different shades together would make a nice impressionistic image. Of course, I also took some macro images – but what a task it was to pick out the best-looking specimen! Lying down on the forest floor and looking up, the blue field almost appeared to be a firework display…
