Groningen: the top of the country

In August and early September, I spent a few weeks in the northern Dutch province Groningen photographing locations for the upcoming travel guide ‘100% Groningen’ by publisher mo’media. The days were filled with views overlooking the most stunning wide landscapes; visits to charming churches, mills, mansions, museums, and art galleries; meeting the friendliest people in the country; and enjoying Grunn’s culinary delights. After experiencing all of this, I can truly recommend a visit to Groningen, quite possibly the Netherlands’ most underrated province.
